OBITUARY FOR CHARLES TIMOTHY (TIM) STUERZENBERGER
Our beloved father, Charles Timothy Stuerzenberger, 65, died on Sunday June 30, 2019 in Dallas, Texas.
Tim was born in in 1953 in Flora, Illinois to Bob and Bettifriend Stuerzenberger. In 1965 the family moved to Abilene, Texas. He graduated from Cooper High School, Western Texas College and Hardin-Simmons University (on a golf scholarship). After a career in corrugated packaging sales, Tim, the long time entrepreneur, along with partner Gene Woehr opened Penn-Tex Plastics Inc. in 1994.
Tim's amazing sense of humor was second to none including an unparalleled arsenal of "dad jokes". His whit, charm, selflessness, and open heart will be missed by all. Tim lived for the relationships that he was able to kindle and felt blessed by all. If you listen closely you can hear him strumming his guitar and singing softly to some Toby Keith.
Tim reunites with his daughter Cortnie and leaves brother Paul, sister-in-law Susan, daughter Chelsea, son Camden, ex-wife Kathe, and Grand-Children Noah, Jocelyn, and Phoebe.

So sad about Tim. We all went to a Doobie Brothers concert and he was into the music and hilarious! He also was a groomsman in our wedding in 1975, always a fun guy, great sense of humor! He will be missed by his family and friends.

Didn't get to know him well back in the day, but always a class act. Great natural athletic ability, and all around nice guy. He'll be missed.
