Becky Jean Montgomery, 47, died Friday, September 1, 2000, at a local medical center.

Services are 2:00 p.m., today at the Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith with Rev. Stan Allcorn officiating.  Burial will be in Blackwell Cemetery.

Mrs. Montgomery was born in Monahans.  She moved to Abilene in 1962 from Elk City, OK., and graduated from Cooper High School in 1971.  She was a tax secretary at a local firm for many years.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Buffalo Gap.

Survivors include a son, Trey Hubbard of Abilene; a daughter, Brooke Strenk of Chandler, AZ; her parents, Burl and Jean Montgomery of Abilene; a brother, Randal Montgomery of Abilene; three nephews and one niece.
