Obituary
 William "Blue" DryAbilene William "Blue" Dry, 59, died Wednesday, November 14, 2012 in an Abilene hospital. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening, November 16, 2012 at Girdner Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 17, 2012 in the Northview Cemetery in Winters. Mr. Dry was born August 9, 1953 in Abilene to William Henry Dry and Dot Bryant Dry. Blue grew up in Abilene and graduated from Cooper High School in 1971 and worked as a painter for Bill Smith Paint Contractors. He was preceded in death by his father and a niece, Christy Bryant. He is survived by his mother, Dot Dry of Abilene; sisters, Norma Bryant and husband Don of Royce City, Kay Whelchel of Merkel; daughter, Kayla Dry of San Angelo; twin grandsons, Brody and Asa Blue Dry of San Angelo; long time companion, Darla Carroll of Abilene; and numerous nieces and nephews.
